Workhorse Brewing Company was founded in King of Prussia, PA in 2018 — built from the ground up by two friends who wanted to make great beer that was accessible, consistent, and genuinely good.

After years running a full production brewery and taproom operation — including a 70,000 sq ft facility and a beloved Center City Philadelphia pop-up — Serra Beverage Company has acquired the Workhorse brand and shifted its focus to sales, marketing, and distribution.

The brewery chapter has closed. The beer lives on. Workhorse is now part of the Serra portfolio — and the ethos that built it is still baked into every can: made right, no compromises.
